Scheduling
30 minute lessons are scheduled once a week. I can teach in my home or in student homes.
Practice
Students are expected to practice daily. Consistent inadequate practice is grounds for dismissal as a student.
Cancellation
If 24 hours advance notice is given for a missed lesson, I will schedule a makeup lesson or credit the lesson cost to your next invoice, at my discretion and availability. If 24 hours notice is not given, except in the case of an emergency, there will be no makeup and no refund. If I have to cancel, I will credit the lesson or schedule a make up, at my discretion and availability.
Payment
I charge $20 for a 30 minute lesson. If I teach in a student's home more than 15 miles from my home studio, I charge for time and travel.
An invoice will be e-mailed to you prior to each month's first lesson. Payment for the upcoming month is due at the first lesson of the month.
Parents are expected to provide lesson books, printed music, recordings, and other learning devices (such as a metronome) that I may require. I am willing to pick up materials with my teacher discount and include them at cost on the following month's invoice.
I accept cash, check, and Venmo payments.
